Pattadakal comprises of nine temples and one Buddhist mandir as well. Its a breath taking view to find various forms and transformation of temple architecture. One can simply stand still and keep observing how the Nagara formed evolved into Dravida form of temple construction which later became predominant in South Indian temple even till today. As referred by many Historians, it is the cradel of Temple Architecture Forms and Transformation.
