After fighting and killing Subahu, (eventually Maricha escapes the fight), Vishwamitra leads Rama and Lakshmana to Mithila and meets the Raja Janak.
In the above scene one can see Viswamitra standing in front of Raja Janak and he is explaining the valor of Rama and Lakshmana in killing the Rakshasa. Rama and Lakshmana are seen with their crowns depicting that they are princess and are carrying the bow. Rama is decorated with a necklace of beads, he is wearing a tola bandi and also a bracelet made up of beads on his right hand. Lakshmana is missing his necklace.
Raja Janak is seated and the royal umbrella is found, he is probably not in the aasthana as the crown is missing. He is seen keenly listening to Viswamitra and he is probably speaking about the Swayamvara which he has planned and might be inviting Rama and Lakshmana to the same. |
