In the left panel, you can see, how Kumbhakarna is slaughtering Vanaras, in a bid to escape, one Vanara is trying to tickle him on his feet, where in the other is trying to hold him by his neck.
Upon seeing heavy casualty, Rama decides to intervene and shoots an arrow(previous slide).
In the right panel, you can see Kumbhakarna just collapsing to ground and you can observe that he is happy in the end that he is being killed by Rama himself.
There is no tension in his face and he is very calm, you can make it out in his eyes compared to earlier panels.
Also, as his prana is present in his chest, upon directions given by Vibhishana Rama aims arrow at his chest, you can notice that his chest is pierced with arrow.
