|In this scene, one can see Viswamitra leading Rama and Lakshmana into the forest. The forest is depicted by the three trees in the top of the panel. Viswamitra is probably talking to Rama. Rama and Lakshmana are well dressed in royal robes and ornaments are found.
Both Rama and Lakshmana are well prepared for the war with their bows and arrows. Also arrows are held in hand showing their preparedness.
One can also see the difference in the bow what Rama is carrying, it is the Kodanda, which is bent more when compared to Lakshmana's bow which is not that bent.
Rama appears to be in a calm mood(shantha chitta) and is seen smiling as well. Where as Lakshmana appears to be quite tensed.
