In this scene, after Seeta's pester Rama ventures into the forest and follows the Mayamruga and makes a kill for it.
One can see Rama shooting an arrow and the arrow is directly slicing through the nexk of the Mayamuga as it is climbing a hill.
As the arrow hits the Mayamruga(Maricha in disguise), it takes the form of Maricha, who can be seen falling down below.
Also while dieing, Maricha shouts the name of Lakshmana, so that it creates confusion among Seeta and Lakshmana which allows them to think that Rama is in trouble.
Maricha accepts death at the hands of Rama and tells him the entire plot behind it.
As Seeta and Lakshmana hear the cry(fake) of Rama, Lakshmana is asked by Seeta to go to the rescue of Rama. Lakshmana can be seen in the scene standing behind Rama. |
